Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act 2007 s 72
s 72 Prohibition against unauthorized escape of any controlled solid waste
(1) Any person who has in his possession of any controlled solid waste shall take all reasonable measures to prevent the escape of any controlled solid waste from his possession.
(2) No person shall cause, aid, abet or permit to cause the escape of any controlled solid waste from the possession of other person.
(3) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not less than ten thousand ringgit and not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.

Larangan terhadap pelepasan sisa pepejal terkawal yang tidak dibenarkan
(1) Mana-mana orang yang mempunyai dalam milikannya apa-apa sisa pepejal terkawal hendaklah mengambil segala langkah yang munasabah untuk mengelakkan terlepasnya apa-apa sisa pepejal terkawal daripada milikannya.
(2) Tiada seorang pun boleh menyebabkan, membantu, bersubahat atau membenarkan terlepasnya apa-apa sisa pepejal terkawal daripada milikan orang lain.
(3) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) atau (2) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak kurang daripada sepuluh ribu ringgit dan tidak melebihi satu ratus ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi lima tahun atau kedua-duanya.
