s 23 Compliance with requirements of importing country
(1) Any person who intends to export living modified organisms shall comply with the requirements of the importing country on the importation of living modified organisms and shall inform the Board of such requirement, if any, and of his or its compliance with that requirement in the prescribed manner and accompanied by the prescribed fees.
(2) The information given under subsection (1) shall be sufficient notification for the purposes of paragraph 22(1)(a).
(3) The compliance with subsection (1) shall in no way absolve the person from complying with other written laws governing export and foreign trade.

Pematuhan kehendak negara pengimport
(1) Mana-mana orang yang bercadang untuk mengeksport organisma diubah suai yang hidup hendaklah mematuhi kehendak negara pengimport tentang pengimportan organisma diubah suai yang hidup dan hendaklah memaklumkan kepada Lembaga kehendak itu, jika ada, dan pematuhannya atau pematuhan pertubuhan perbadanan dengan kehendak itu mengikut cara yang ditetapkan dan disertakan dengan fi yang ditetapkan.
(2) Maklumat yang diberikan di bawah subseksyen (1) adalah merupakan pemberitahuan yang mencukupi bagi maksud perenggan 22(1)(a).
(3) Pematuhan subseksyen (1) tidak sama sekali membebaskan orang itu daripada mematuhi undang-undang bertulis lain yang mengawal eksport dan perdagangan asing.
