s 51 Enforcement officer may seek assistance to examine things related to offence

An enforcement officer may seek the assistance of any person to examine any organism or product that is suspected of being a living modified organism or product of such organism, or book, document, computerized data, apparatus, equipment, device, machinery, vehicle, matter or thing including in digital form, seized or detained under this Act if such person has the necessary qualification to examine such organism or product that is suspected of being a living modified organism or product of such organism, or book, document, computerized data, apparatus, equipment, device, machinery, vehicle, matter or thing including in digital form, for the purposes of an investigation under this Act or any regulations made under this Act.

Pegawai penguat kuasa boleh mendapatkan bantuan untuk memeriksa benda yang berhubung dengan kesalahan

Seseorang pegawai penguat kuasa boleh mendapatkan bantuan mana-mana orang untuk memeriksa mana-mana organisma atau hasilan yang disyaki merupakan organisma diubah suai yang hidup atau hasilan organisma sedemikian, atau buku, dokumen, data berkomputer, radas, kelengkapan, peranti, jentera, kenderaan, perkara atau benda termasuk dalam bentuk digital, yang disita atau ditahan di bawah Akta ini, jika orang itu mempunyai kelayakan yang perlu untuk memeriksa organisma atau hasilan yang disyaki merupakan organisma diubah suai yang hidup atau hasilan organisma sedemikian, atau buku, dokumen, data berkomputer, radas, kelengkapan, peranti, jentera, kenderaan, perkara atau benda termasuk dalam bentuk digital, bagi maksud sesuatu penyiasatan di bawah Akta ini atau mana-mana peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini.
