(1) A f t e r h a v i n g c o n s i d e r e d a n a p p l i c a t i o n u n d e r subsection 38(1), the Agency may—
(a) grant the application and issue a certificate of provisional accreditation to the higher education provider upon payment of the prescribed fees; or
(b) refuse the application, stating the grounds for refusal.
(2) The Agency may issue separate certificates of provisional accreditation for different premises.
(3) For the purpose of considering an application under subsection 38(1), the Agency may conduct an institutional audit.

Kuasa untuk membenarkan atau menolak permohonan
(1) Selepas menimbangkan sesuatu permohonan di bawah subseksyen 38(1), Agensi boleh—
(a) membenarkan permohonan itu dan mengeluarkan suatu perakuan akreditasi sementara kepada pemberi pendidikan tinggi itu selepas dibayar fi yang ditetapkan; atau
(b) menolak permohonan itu, dengan menyatakan alasan bagi penolakan itu.
(2) Agensi boleh mengeluarkan perakuan akreditasi sementara yang berasingan bagi premis yang berlainan.
(3) Bagi maksud menimbangkan sesuatu permohonan di bawah subseksyen 38(1), Agensi boleh menjalankan audit institusi.
