s 1 Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the University of Malaya Act 1961 and shall come into force on such date as the Minister may by notification in the Gazette appoint.

Akta ini bolehlah dinamakan Akta Universiti Malaya 1961 dan hendaklah mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta.
