East Coast Economic Region Development Council Act 2008 s 11
(1) Subject to the approval of the Prime Minister, any member of the Council appointed under subparagraphs 10(1)(c), (d) and (e) may appoint an alternate to attend the meetings of the Council in his absence. (2) When attending meetings of the Council in place of a member, an alternate member shall for all purposes be deemed to be a member of the Council at the relevant meeting in respect of which he is appointed as an alternate of such member.
Anggota silih ganti Majlis
(1) Tertakluk kepada kelulusan Perdana Menteri, mana-mana anggota Majlis yang dilantik di bawah subperenggan 10(1)(c), (d) dan (e) boleh melantik seorang anggota silih ganti untuk menghadiri mesyuarat Majlis semasa ketidakhadiran anggota Majlis itu. (2) Apabila menghadiri mesyuarat Majlis sebagai pengganti kepada seseorang anggota, anggota silih ganti itu hendaklah bagi segala maksud disifatkan sebagai seorang anggota Majlis bagi mesyuarat yang berkenaan dengannya dia dilantik sebagai anggota silih ganti bagi anggota itu.
