s 14 Dealing with outstanding rights and obligations of participant
(1) Where a participant has any outstanding rights or obligations or is subject to any restrictions, the Director General shall take such steps as are reasonably practicable to ensure that—
(a) those rights or obligations are dealt with according to the relevant law; or
(b) the participant complies with those restrictions.
(2) The action under subsection (1) may include—
(a) providing protection for the participant while the participant is attending a court; or
(b) notifying a party or possible party to any legal proceedings that the Director General will accept process issued by a court or tribunal on behalf of the participant, and the Director General may appoint any officer for the purpose.
(3) If the Director General is satisfied that a participant who has been provided with a new identity under the Programme is using the new identity to—
(a) avoid obligations that were incurred before the new identity was provided; or
(b) avoid complying with restrictions that were imposed before the new identity was provided,
the Director General shall give notice in writing to the participant.
(4) The notice under subsection (3) shall state that, unless the participant satisfies the Director General that the obligations will be dealt with according to the relevant law or the restrictions will be complied with, the Director General shall take such action as he considers reasonably necessary to ensure that they are dealt with according to the law or complied with.
(5) The action taken under subsection (4) may include informing any person who is seeking to enforce rights against the participant of the details of any property, whether real or personal, owned by the participant under his original identity.

Menguruskan hak dan obligasi yang belum selesai peserta
(1) Jika seseorang peserta mempunyai apa-apa hak atau obligasi yang belum selesai atau adalah tertakluk kepada apa-apa sekatan, Ketua Pengarah hendaklah mengambil apa-apa langkah yang semunasabahnya boleh dilaksanakan untuk memastikan bahawa—
(a) hak atau obligasi itu diuruskan mengikut undang-undang yang berkaitan; atau
(b) peserta itu mematuhi sekatan itu.
(2) Tindakan di bawah subseksyen (1) boleh termasuk—
(a) memberikan perlindungan untuk peserta semasa peserta itu hadir di mahkamah; atau
(b) memberitahu pihak atau yang mungkin menjadi pihak kepada apa-apa prosiding undang-undang bahawa Ketua Pengarah akan menerima proses yang dikeluarkan oleh mahkamah atau tribunal bagi pihak peserta itu, dan Ketua Pengarah boleh melantik mana-mana pegawai bagi maksud itu.
(3) Jika Ketua Pengarah berpuas hati bahawa peserta yang telah diberikan suatu identiti baharu di bawah Program menggunakan identiti baharu itu untuk—
(a) mengelak obligasi yang dilakukan sebelum identiti baharu itu diberikan; atau
(b) mengelak daripada mematuhi sekatan yang dikenakan sebelum identiti baharu itu diberikan,
Ketua Pengarah hendaklah memberikan notis secara bertulis kepada peserta itu.
(4) Notis di bawah subseksyen (3) hendaklah menyatakan bahawa, melainkan jika peserta itu memuaskan hati Ketua Pengarah bahawa obligasi itu akan diuruskan mengikut undang-undang yang
berkaitan atau sekatan itu akan dipatuhi, Ketua Pengarah hendaklah mengambil apa-apa tindakan sebagaimana yang semunasabahnya didapatinya perlu untuk memastikan bahawa obligasi itu diuruskan mengikut undang-undang atau sekatan itu dipatuhi.
(5) Tindakan yang diambil di bawah subseksyen (4) boleh termasuk memaklumkan mana-mana orang yang sedang menuntut untuk menguatkuasakan hak terhadap peserta itu butir-butir mengenai apa-apa harta, sama ada tanah atau sendiri, yang dipunyai oleh peserta itu di bawah identiti asalnya.
