Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) Identification Act 2009 s 24
s 24 Regulations
(1) The Minister may make regulations as may be necessary or expedient to give full effect to, or for carrying out, the provisions of this Act.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), regulations may be made—
(a) to prescribe the procedures in taking and disposing of intimate sample and non-intimate sample;
(b) to prescribe any form for the purpose of this Act;
(c) to regulate the management, administration and control of the DNA Databank; and
(d) to provide for any matter which under this Act is required or permitted to be prescribed or which is necessary or expedient to be prescribed.
(3) Any regulations made under this Act shall be laid before the Dewan Rakyat as soon as possible after they are made and if the Dewan Rakyat is not then sitting, at the sitting of the following meeting of the Dewan Rakyat.

Peraturan-peraturan
(1) Menteri boleh membuat peraturan-peraturan sebagaimana yang perlu atau suai manfaat untuk memberikan kuat kuasa sepenuhnya kepada, atau untuk menjalankan, peruntukan Akta ini.
(2) Ta n p a m e n j e j a s k a n k e l u a s a n s u b s e k s y e n ( 1 ) , peraturan-peraturan boleh dibuat—
(a) untuk menetapkan tatacara pengambilan dan pelupusan sampel intim dan sampel bukan intim;
(b) untuk menetapkan apa-apa borang bagi maksud Akta ini;
(c) untuk mengawal selia pengurusan, pentadbiran dan kawalan Bank Data DNA; dan
(d) untuk mengadakan peruntukan bagi apa-apa perkara yang dikehendaki atau dibenarkan untuk ditetapkan di bawah Akta ini atau yang perlu atau suai manfaat untuk ditetapkan.
(3) Apa-apa peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini hendaklah dibentangkan di dalam Dewan Rakyat dengan seberapa segera yang mungkin selepas ia dibuat dan jika Dewan Rakyat tidak bersidang, pada persidangan dalam mesyuarat Dewan Rakyat yang berikutnya.
