s 160 Powers to direct a self-regulatory organisation
(1) The Authority may, after giving a self-regulatory organisation reasonable opportunity to make representations about the matter, give a written direction to the self-regulatory organisation—
(a) suspending, for the period specified in the direction, a specified provision of its constitution or its rules;
(b) requiring, subject to the Labuan Companies Act 1990 or any other law, the amendment of its constitution as specified in the direction so as to bring it in conformity with this Act, any regulations made under this Act or any rules made by the Authority;
(c) requiring the amendment of its rules as specified in the direction so as to bring them in conformity with the relevant Act; or
(d) for the implementation or enforcement of its constitution or its rules.
(2) Where the Authority has reasonable grounds to believe that—
(a) an officer of a self-regulatory organisation is not a fit and proper person under this Act; or
(b) a particular person’s appointment or continuing in office as an officer of a self-regulatory organisation is likely to be detrimental to the self-regulatory organisation or to affect prejudicially the interest of the investors and consumers of financial services or of members of the relevant sector or industry,
the Authority may, after giving the officer and the self-regulatory organisation reasonable opportunity to make representations, direct
the self-regulatory organisation not to appoint the officer, or to remove the officer from office.
(3) Subsections (1) and (2) shall not limit the directions that the Authority may give to a self-regulatory organisation.

Kuasa untuk memberikan arahan kepada organisasi kawal selia sendiri
(1) Lembaga boleh, selepas memberi peluang yang munasabah kepada sesuatu organisasi kawal selia sendiri untuk membuat representasi mengenai perkara itu, memberikan suatu arahan bertulis kepada organisasi kawal selia sendiri itu—
(a) menggantung, selama tempoh yang ditentukan dalam arahan itu, suatu peruntukan tertentu dalam perlembagaan atau kaedah-kaedahnya;
(b) menghendaki, tertakluk kepada Akta Syarikat Labuan 1990 atau mana-mana undang-undang lain, pindaan perlembagaannya sebagaimana yang ditentukan dalam arahan itu supaya menjadikannya mematuhi Akta ini, mana-mana peraturan yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini atau mana-mana kaedah yang dibuat oleh Lembaga;
(c) menghendaki pindaan kaedah-kaedahnya sebagaimana yang ditentukan dalam arahan itu supaya menjadikannya mematuhi Akta yang berkenaan; atau
(d) bagi pelaksanaan atau penguatkuasaan perlembagaannya atau kaedah-kaedahnya.
(2) Jika Lembaga mempunyai alasan yang munasabah untuk mempercayai bahawa—
(a) seseorang pegawai sesuatu organisasi kawal selia sendiri bukan seseorang yang layak dan sesuai di bawah Akta ini; atau
(b) pelantikan seseorang tertentu atau penerusan jawatannya sebagai seorang pegawai sesuatu organisasi kawal selia sendiri berkemungkinan memudaratkan organisasi kawal selia sendiri itu atau menjejaskan secara mudarat kepentingan pelabur dan pengguna perkhidmatan kewangan atau kepentingan anggota sektor atau industri yang berkenaan,
Lembaga boleh, selepas memberi peluang yang munasabah kepada pegawai dan organisasi kawal selia sendiri itu untuk membuat representasi, mengarahkan organisasi kawal selia sendiri itu untuk tidak melantik pegawai itu, atau menyingkirkannya daripada jawatannya.
(3) Subseksyen (1) dan (2) tidak boleh membataskan arahan yang boleh diberikan oleh Lembaga kepada sesuatu organisasi kawal selia sendiri.
