s 79 Power to seize documents, etc.
(1) If any police officer, road transport officer or land public transport officer has reasonable cause to believe that a document carried on a relevant vehicle, or any licence, operator’s licence, record or other document produced to him pursuant to this Act by the driver or person in charge of a relevant vehicle is a document, a licence, an operator’s licence or a record in relation to which an offence under this Act has been committed, he may seize or detach the document, licence, operator’s licence or record from the relevant vehicle.
(2) If the licence or operator’s licence seized under subsection (1) is a licence or operator’s licence which has been suspended under this Act, the licence or operator’s licence shall be returned to the licensee, terminal licensee, intermediation business licensee or licensed operator, respectively, upon the expiry of the period of suspension.
(3) For the purposes of this section—
“document” includes a badge;
“seize” includes the power to detach from the relevant vehicle.

Kuasa untuk menyita dokumen, dsb.
(1) Jika mana-mana pegawai polis, pegawai pengangkutan jalan atau pegawai dilantik mempunyai sebab yang munasabah untuk mempercayai bahawa sesuatu dokumen yang dibawa di atas suatu kenderaan yang berkaitan, atau mana-mana lesen, lesen pengendali, rekod atau dokumen lain yang dikemukakan kepadanya menurut Akta ini oleh pemandu atau orang yang mengawal suatu kenderaan yang berkaitan ialah suatu dokumen, suatu lesen, suatu lesen pengendali atau suatu rekod yang berhubungan dengannya suatu kesalahan di bawah Akta ini telah dilakukan, dia boleh menyita atau menanggalkan dokumen, lesen, lesen pengendali atau rekod itu daripada kenderaan yang berkaitan itu.
(2) Jika lesen atau lesen pengendali yang disita di bawah subseksyen (1) ialah suatu lesen atau lesen pengendali yang telah digantung di bawah Akta ini, lesen atau lesen pengendali itu hendaklah dikembalikan kepada pemegang lesen, pemegang lesen terminal, pemegang lesen perniagaan pengantaraan atau pengendali berlesen itu, masing-masing, apabila habis tempoh penggantungan itu.
(3) Bagi maksud seksyen ini —
“dokumen” termasuklah sesuatu lencana;
“menyita” termasuklah kuasa untuk menanggalkan daripada kenderaan yang berkaitan.
