Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation Act 2011 s 172
s 172 Compensation
(1) Where a court finds a person guilty of an offence under subsection 171(2) and the court is satisfied that the affected person or another person has suffered loss or damage thereby, the court may order the person guilty of the offence to pay compensation to the person who has suffered such loss or damage.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1) the conservator may commence civil proceedings against any person to recover the asset of the affected person or compensation in lieu thereof.

Pampasan
(1) Jika mahkamah mendapati seseorang bersalah bagi suatu kesalahan di bawah subseksyen 171(2) dan mahkamah berpuas hati bahawa orang terjejas atau seorang yang lain telah menanggung kerugian atau kerosakan kerananya, mahkamah boleh memerintahkan orang yang melakukan kesalahan itu supaya membayar pampasan kepada orang yang telah menanggung kerugian atau kerosakan itu.
(2) Walau apa pun subseksyen (1) konservator boleh memulakan prosiding guaman terhadap mana-mana orang untuk mendapatkan kembali aset orang terjejas atau pampasan sebagai gantinya.
