Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation Act 2011 s 61

s 61 Corporation may pay return or interest on obligatory payment

Where the Corporation makes an obligatory payment under section 56, the Corporation may at its sole discretion pay, in addition to the amount the Corporation is obliged to pay, return or interest on that amount at a rate determined by the Corporation for the period commencing on the date of the filing of the petition for the winding up in respect of a deposit-taking member that holds the deposit and ending on the date of the making of the payment in respect of the deposit, but the aggregate of the payments made under this section and section 56 in relation to the deposit shall in no case exceed such limit as prescribed under subsection 42(2).

Perbadanan boleh membayar pulangan atau bunga atas bayaran wajib

Jika Perbadanan membuat suatu bayaran wajib di bawah seksyen 56, Perbadanan boleh atas budi bicaranya sendiri membayar, sebagai tambahan kepada amaun yang Perbadanan berkewajipan untuk membayar, pulangan atau bunga ke atas amaun itu pada suatu kadar yang ditentukan oleh Perbadanan bagi tempoh yang bermula pada tarikh pemfailan petisyen penggulungan berkenaan dengan anggota penerima deposit yang memegang deposit itu dan berakhir pada tarikh bayaran dibuat berkenaan dengan deposit itu, tetapi agregat bayaran yang dibuat di bawah seksyen ini dan seksyen 56 berhubung dengan deposit itu hendaklah dalam apa-apa hal tidak melebihi apa-apa had sebagaimana yang ditetapkan di bawah subseksyen 42(2).
