s 1 Short title and commencement
(1) This Act may be cited as the Medical Device Act 2012. (2) This Act comes into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette.

(1) Akta ini bolehlah dinamakan Akta Peranti Perubatan 2012. (2) Akta ini mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta.
