Medical Device Act 2012 s 58

s 58 Cost of holding seized medical device, etc.

If any medical device, book, document, computerized data, apparatus, equipment, device, machinery, vehicle, matter or thing including in digital form seized under this Act is held in the custody of the Authority pending the completion of any proceedings in respect of an offence under this Act, the cost of holding it in custody shall, irrespective of whether any prosecution is instituted or otherwise against any person, be a civil debt due to the Government by such person and shall be recoverable accordingly.

Kos bagi memegang peranti perubatan, dsb., yang disita

Jika apa-apa peranti perubatan, buku, dokumen, data berkomputer, radas, kelengkapan, peranti, jentera, kenderaan, perkara atau benda termasuklah dalam bentuk digital yang disita di bawah Akta ini dipegang dalam jagaan Pihak Berkuasa sementara menunggu penyelesaian apa-apa prosiding berkenaan dengan suatu kesalahan di bawah Akta ini, kos bagi memegang dalam jagaan hendaklah, tanpa mengira sama ada apa-apa pendakwaan dimulakan atau selainnya terhadap mana-mana orang, menjadi hutang sivil yang kena dibayar oleh orang itu kepada Kerajaan dan bolehlah didapatkan dengan sewajarnya.
