s 5 Grant to next-of-kin of recipient where Decoration is conferred posthumously
Where the Decoration is conferred posthumously after the commencement of this Act, there may be made a grant of a total sum of ten thousand ringgit once only—
(a) to the spouse or spouses and children of the deceased recipient who are living on the date of the conferment of the Decoration;
(b) if on the date of the conferment of the Decoration no spouse or child of the deceased recipient is living, to the parents or parent of the deceased recipient who are or is living on such date; or
(c) if on the date of the conferment of the Decoration no spouse, child or parent of the deceased recipient is living, to the grandparents or grandparent of the deceased recipient who are or is living on such date.

Pemberian kepada waris kadim penerima jika Pingat dianugerahkan selepas kematian
Jika Pingat dianugerahkan selepas permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini kepada seseorang yang telah mati, maka bolehlah diberikan suatu jumlah wang sebanyak sepuluh ribu ringgit hanya sekali—
(a) kepada isteri atau isteri-isteri atau suami dan anak-anak penerima yang mati yang masih hidup pada tarikh penganugerahan Pingat itu;
(b) sekiranya pada tarikh penganugerahan Pingat itu tiada isteri atau suami atau anak penerima yang mati yang masih hidup, kepada ibu bapa atau ibu atau bapa penerima yang mati yang masih hidup pada tarikh itu; atau
(c) sekiranya pada tarikh penganugerahan Pingat itu tiada isteri atau suami, anak atau ibu atau bapa penerima yang mati itu yang masih hidup, kepada datuk nenek atau datuk atau nenek penerima yang mati yang masih hidup pada tarikh itu.
