s 23 Appointment of adjudicator by Director of the KLRCA
(1) The Director of the KLRCA shall appoint an adjudicator under paragraph 21(b) within five working days upon receipt of a request and shall notify the parties and the adjudicator in writing.
(2) The adjudicator shall propose and negotiate his terms of appointment including fees chargeable with the parties and shall within ten working days from the date he was notified of his appointment, indicate his acceptance and terms of his appointment.
(3) If the adjudicator rejects his appointment or fails to indicate his acceptance of the appointment within the period specified in subsection (2)—
(a) the parties may agree to appoint another adjudicator in the manner provided under paragraph 21(a); or
(b) the Director of the KLRCA may proceed to appoint another adjudicator in the manner provided under paragraph 21(b).

Pelantikan adjudikator oleh Pengarah PTSKL
(1) Pengarah PTSKL hendaklah melantik seorang adjudikator di bawah perenggan 21(b) dalam masa lima hari bekerja apabila diterima suatu permintaan dan hendaklah memberitahu pihak-pihak itu dan adjudikator secara bertulis.
(2) Adjudikator hendaklah mencadangkan dan merundingkan terma pelantikannya termasuk fi yang kena dibayar dengan pihak-pihak itu dan hendaklah dalam masa sepuluh hari bekerja dari tarikh dia diberitahu tentang pelantikannya, menunjukkan penerimaannya dan terma pelantikannya.
(3) Jika adjudikator itu menolak pelantikannya atau tidak menunjukkan penerimaan pelantikannya dalam tempoh yang dinyatakan dalam subseksyen (2)—
(a) pihak-pihak itu boleh bersetuju untuk melantik seorang adjudikator yang lain mengikut cara yang diperuntukkan di bawah perenggan 21(a); atau
(b) Pengarah PTSKL boleh terus melantik seorang adjudikator yang lain mengikut cara yang diperuntukkan di bawah perenggan 21(b).
