Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research Act 2012 s 8
Without prejudice to section 9, the Institute may, with the approval of the Minister and the concurrence of the Minister of Finance establish companies under the Companies Act 1965 [Act 125] for purposes of carrying out or engaging in any activity which has been planned or undertaken by the Institute in connection with the discharge of its functions and powers.

Tanpa menjejaskan seksyen 9, Institut boleh, dengan kebenaran Menteri dan persetujuan Menteri Kewangan menubuhkan syarikat di bawah Akta Syarikat 1965 [Akta 125] bagi maksud menjalankan atau terlibat dalam apa-apa aktiviti yang telah dirancang atau dijalankan oleh Institut yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan fungsi dan kuasanya.
