s 15 Application to operate a Voluntary Patrolling Scheme
(1) The Chairman of a Rukun Tetangga Area Committee may apply to the Director General to operate a Voluntary Patrolling Scheme in the whole or part of the Area if a request is made to him by a group of not less than twenty residents of the Area of not less than eighteen years of age.
(2) If the application under subsection (1) is approved by the Director General, he shall convey the approval to the Chairman of the Rukun Tetangga Area Committee for the implementation of the Voluntary Patrolling Scheme.

Permohonan untuk menjalankan Skim Rondaan Sukarela
(1) Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kawasan Rukun Tetangga boleh memohon kepada Ketua Pengarah untuk menjalankan Skim Rondaan Sukarela di dalam keseluruhan atau sebahagian Kawasan jika permohonan dibuat kepadanya oleh sekumpulan tidak kurang daripada dua puluh orang pemastautin Kawasan itu yang berumur tidak kurang daripada lapan belas tahun.
(2) Jika permohonan di bawah subseksyen (1) diluluskan oleh Ketua Pengarah, Ketua Pengarah hendaklah menyampaikan kelulusan itu kepada Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kawasan Rukun Tetangga bagi pelaksanaan Skim Rondaan Sukarela.
