s 20 Uniform and equipment to be delivered up on ceasing to be member
(1) When an officer or a member of RELA ceases to be in RELA he shall, within fourteen days, deliver to the person appointed by the Director General for that purpose his uniform and equipment which has been supplied to him.
(2) An officer or a member of RELA who, having ceased to be a member of RELA, without good cause fails to comply with subsection
(1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not
exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both, and, in addition, shall be liable to pay the value of the property not delivered up, and such value may be ascertained by the court in a summary manner and shall be recoverable as a fine.

Pakaian seragam dan kelengkapan hendaklah dikembalikan apabila berhenti menjadi anggota
(1) Apabila seorang pegawai atau anggota RELA berhenti daripada RELA dia hendaklah, dalam tempoh empat belas hari, mengembalikan kepada orang yang dilantik oleh Ketua Pengarah bagi maksud itu pakaian seragam dan kelengkapan yang dibekalkan kepadanya.
(2) Seseorang pegawai atau anggota RELA yang, setelah berhenti menjadi anggota RELA, tanpa sebab yang munasabah tidak mematuhi subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan bagi tempoh tidak melebihi tiga bulan atau kedua-duanya, dan, sebagai tambahan, boleh dikehendaki membayar nilai harta yang tidak dikembalikan, dan nilai itu akan ditentukan oleh mahkamah secara penghakiman terus dan boleh didapatkan kembali sebagai suatu denda.
