Financial Services Act 2013 s 276
A licensed insurer, other than a licensed professional reinsurer, lawfully carrying on both life business and general business under the repealed Insurance Act 1996 shall comply with subsection 16(1) within five years of the appointed date or such longer period as may be specified by the Minister, on the recommendation of the Bank, by notice in writing to the insurer upon its written application before the expiry of the five years.
Penukaran kepada perniagaan insurans tunggal
Penanggung insurans berlesen, selain penanggung insurans semula profesional berlesen, yang secara sahnya menjalankan kedua-dua perniagaan hayat dan am di bawah Akta Insurans 1996 yang dimansuhkan hendaklah mematuhi subseksyen 16(1) dalam lima tahun dari tarikh yang ditetapkan atau mana-mana tempoh lanjut sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Menteri, atas syor Bank, melalui notis bertulis kepada penanggung insurans itu setelah menerima permohonan bertulisnya sebelum habis tempoh lima tahun itu.
