s 54 C h a i r m a n , d i re c t o r s a n d c h i e f e x e c u t i v e o f f i c e r o f institution
(1) Every institution shall at all times have a chief executive officer.
(2) Except with the prior written approval of the Bank—
(a) no licensed person shall appoint or elect, or reappoint or re-elect any person as its chairman, director or chief executive officer; and
(b) no person shall accept any appointment or election, or reappointment or re-election as a chairman, director or chief executive officer, of a licensed person.
(3) The licensed person shall submit an application in writing to the Bank together with such documents or information as may be specified by the Bank for the purposes of an approval under subsection (2).
(4) An approved person or operator of a designated payment system shall notify the Bank in writing of the appointment, reappointment, election or re-election of its chairman, director or chief executive officer and in the case of an approved financial adviser, its representative, within seven days or such other period as may be specified by the Bank together with such documents or information as may be specified by the Bank.

Pengerusi, pengarah dan ketua pegawai eksekutif institusi
(1) Tiap-tiap institusi hendaklah pada setiap masa mempunyai ketua pegawai eksekutif.
(2) Kecuali dengan kelulusan bertulis terdahulu Bank—
(a) tiada orang berlesen pun boleh melantik atau memilih, atau melantik semula atau memilih semula mana-mana orang sebagai pengerusinya, pengarahnya atau ketua pegawai eksekutifnya; dan
(b) tiada seorang pun boleh menerima mana-mana pelantikan atau pemilihan, atau pelantikan semula atau pemilihan semula sebagai pengerusi, pengarah atau ketua pegawai eksekutif, orang berlesen.
(3) Orang berlesen hendaklah mengemukakan suatu permohonan secara bertulis kepada Bank berserta dengan apa-apa dokumen atau maklumat sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Bank bagi maksud suatu kelulusan di bawah subseksyen (2).
(4) Orang yang diluluskan atau pengendali sistem pembayaran yang ditetapkan hendaklah memberitahu Bank secara bertulis mengenai pelantikan, pelantikan semula, pemilihan atau pemilihan semula pengerusinya, pengarahnya atau ketua pegawai eksekutifnya dan dalam hal penasihat kewangan yang diluluskan, wakilnya, dalam tempoh tujuh hari atau apa-apa tempoh lain sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Bank berserta dengan apa-apa dokumen atau maklumat sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Bank.
