Armed Forces Act 1972 s 179

s 179 Punishment for pretending to be a deserter

Every person who in Malaysia falsely represents himself to any armed forces authority or civil authority to be a deserter from the regular forces shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both.

Hukuman kerana berpura-pura sebagai seorang tinggal tugas

Tiap-tiap orang yang di dalam Malaysia secara palsu menyatakan dirinya kepada mana-mana pihak berkuasa angkatan tentera atau pihak berkuasa awam sebagai seorang tinggal tugas daripada angkatan tetap boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima ratus ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi tiga bulan atau kedua-duanya.
