Any member of the Council or any of its committees, any member of the Investigating Committee, any member of the Disciplinary Authority, any authorized officer, or any employee of the Council, while discharging their duties under this Act as such member of the Council or its committees, or such member of the Investigating Committee or Disciplinary Authority, or such authorized officer or employee of the Council, shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of the Penal Code [Act 574].

Pekhidmat awam
Mana-mana anggota Majlis atau mana-mana jawatankuasanya, mana-mana anggota Jawatankuasa Penyiasat, mana-mana anggota Pihak Berkuasa Tatatertib, mana-mana pegawai diberi kuasa, atau mana-mana pekerja Majlis, semasa menunaikan kewajipan mereka di bawah Akta ini sebagai anggota Majlis atau jawatankuasanya, anggota Jawatankuasa Penyiasat atau Pihak Berkuasa Tatatertib, atau pegawai diberi kuasa atau pekerja Majlis, hendaklah disifatkan sebagai pekhidmat awam mengikut pengertian Kanun Keseksaan [Akta 574].
