National Security Council Act 2016 s 13
(1) The Director General shall be the Secretary to the Council. (2) The Secretary shall be responsible— (a) for the overall administration and management of the functions and the day-to-day affairs of the Council; and (b) for the carrying out of any other duties as directed by the Council. (3) The Secretary shall, in carrying out his responsibilities, act under the direction of the Council.
Setiausaha Majlis
(1) Ketua Pengarah hendaklah menjadi Setiausaha Majlis. (2) Setiausaha hendaklah bertanggungjawab— (a) bagi keseluruhan pentadbiran dan pengurusan fungsi dan hal ehwal harian Majlis; dan (b) bagi penjalanan apa-apa kewajipan lain sebagaimana yang diarahkan oleh Majlis. (3) Setiausaha hendaklah, dalam menjalankan tanggungjawabnya, bertindak di bawah arahan Majlis.
