s 577 Service of notice

Any document required to be served on a foreign company shall be sufficiently served— (a) if the document is addressed to the foreign company and left at or sent by post to its registered office in Malaysia; (b) if the document is addressed to an agent of the company and left at or sent by post to his registered address; or (c) in the case of a foreign company which has ceased to maintain a place of business in Malaysia, if the document is addressed to the foreign company and is left at or sent by post to its registered office in the place of its incorporation or origin.

Penyampaian notis

Apa-apa dokumen yang dikehendaki supaya disampaikan kepada suatu syarikat asing hendaklah disampaikan dengan secukupnya— (a) jika dokumen itu dialamatkan kepada syarikat asing itu dan ditinggalkan di atau dihantar melalui pos ke pejabat berdaftarnya di Malaysia; (b) jika dokumen itu dialamatkan kepada ejen syarikat itu dan ditinggalkan di atau dihantar melalui pos ke alamat berdaftarnya; atau (c) dalam hal suatu syarikat asing yang terhenti mengekalkan tempat perniagaan di Malaysia, jika dokumen itu dialamatkan kepada syarikat asing itu dan ditinggalkan di atau dihantar melalui pos ke pejabat berdaftarnya di tempat syarikat asing itu diperbadankan atau di tempat asalnya.
