(1) A self-employed insured person whose condition requires, as a result of self-employment injury, medical treatment and attendance shall be entitled to receive a medical benefit.
(2) The medical benefit may be given either in the form of outpatient treatment and attendance in a hospital, dispensary, clinic or other institution or by visits to the home of the self-employed insured person or treatment as inpatient in a hospital or other institution.

Faedah perubatan
(1) Orang berinsurans bekerja sendiri yang keadaannya memerlukan, akibat daripada bencana pekerjaan sendiri, rawatan dan layanan perubatan berhak untuk menerima faedah perubatan.
(2) Faedah perubatan itu boleh diberikan sama ada dalam bentuk rawatan dan layanan pesakit luar di suatu hospital, dispensari, klinik atau institusi lain atau lawatan ke rumah orang berinsurans bekerja sendiri atau rawatan sebagai pesakit dalam di suatu hospital atau institusi lain.
