Sexual Offences against Children Act 2017 s 19
Notwithstanding section 13 of the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593], any person who fails to give information of the commission of or the intention of any other person to commit any offence under this Act, or any offence specified in the Schedule where the victim is a child, to the officer in charge of the nearest police station, commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit.

Walau apa pun seksyen 13 Kanun Tatacara Jenayah [Akta 593], mana-mana orang yang tidak memberikan maklumat mengenai pelakuan atau niat mana-mana orang lain untuk melakukan mana-mana kesalahan di bawah Akta ini, atau mana-mana kesalahan yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual sekiranya mangsa ialah kanak-kanak, kepada pegawai yang menjaga balai polis yang berdekatan, melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, jika disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima ribu ringgit.
