Sexual Offences against Children Act 2017 s 25
Notwithstanding paragraph 289(c) of the Criminal Procedure Code, if a person convicted of any offence under this Act is a male whom the court considers to be more than fifty years of age, he may still be punishable with whipping.

Walau apa pun perenggan 289(c) Kanun Tatacara Jenayah, jika seseorang disabitkan atas mana-mana kesalahan di bawah Akta ini ialah lelaki yang mahkamah berpandangan berumur lebih daripada lima puluh tahun, orang itu masih boleh dihukum dengan hukuman sebat.
