s 17 Employees deemed registered
(1) Notwithstanding subsection 16(1), an employee in the industry to which the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 applies that
has been registered with the Organization in accordance with the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 before the coming into operation of this Act shall be deemed to have been registered under this Act on the date this Act comes into operation.
(2) The registration of the employees referred to in subsection (1) shall be subject to the First Schedule.

Pekerja disifatkan didaftarkan
(1) Walau apa pun subseksyen 16(1), seseorang pekerja dalam perusahaan yang baginya Akta Keselamatan Sosial Pekerja 1969 terpakai yang telah didaftarkan dengan Pertubuhan mengikut Akta Keselamatan Sosial Pekerja 1969 sebelum permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini hendaklah disifatkan telah didaftarkan di bawah Akta ini pada tarikh Akta ini mula berkuat kuasa.
(2) Pendaftaran pekerja yang disebut dalam subseksyen (1) hendaklah tertakluk pada Jadual Pertama.
