(1) If an insured person has lost an employment, he may apply to the Organization to undergo any training provided by a training provider approved by the Organization—
(a) within the period the insured person receives the job search allowance;
(b) within the period of not more than twelve months after the period the insured person receives the job search allowance; or
(c) within the period of six months after accepting an offer of employment and reporting duty for work.
(2) The Organization may approve the application under subsection (1) subject to such conditions as determined by the Organization.
(3) An insured person who attends any training provided by a training provider approved by the Organization shall be entitled to a training allowance which shall not be more than six months from the date as determined by the Organization at the rate as specified in the Third Schedule and in such manner as prescribed.
(4) The maximum period of training in respect of an insured person shall be equivalent to the period of payment for the job search allowance which he is entitled to.
(5) Any training fees charged to the insured person by a training provider under this section shall be borne by the Organization and the amount of the training fees shall be as specified in the Third Schedule.
(6) The Organization shall pay the training fees to the training provider who provides the training to the insured person.
(7) For the purpose of subsections (5) and (6), “training fees” means all costs relating to the training of an insured person including meals and materials for the training.

Elaun latihan dan fi latihan
(1) Jika orang berinsurans telah kehilangan pekerjaan, dia boleh memohon kepada Pertubuhan untuk menjalani apa-apa latihan yang diberikan oleh pemberi latihan yang diluluskan oleh Pertubuhan—
(a) dalam tempoh orang berinsurans itu menerima elaun mencari pekerjaan;
(b) dalam tempoh tidak lebih daripada dua belas bulan selepas tempoh orang berinsurans itu menerima elaun mencari pekerjaan; atau
(c) dalam tempoh enam bulan selepas menerima suatu tawaran pekerjaan dan melapor diri untuk bekerja.
(2) Pertubuhan boleh meluluskan permohonan di bawah subseksyen (1) tertakluk pada apa-apa syarat sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Pertubuhan.
(3) Orang berinsurans yang menghadiri mana-mana latihan yang diberikan oleh pemberi latihan yang diluluskan oleh Pertubuhan berhak mendapat elaun latihan yang tidak melebihi enam bulan dari tarikh yang ditentukan oleh Pertubuhan pada kadar sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Ketiga dan mengikut apa-apa cara sebagaimana yang ditetapkan.
(4) Tempoh latihan maksimum berkenaan dengan orang berinsurans hendaklah sama dengan tempoh bayaran bagi elaun mencari pekerjaan yang dia berhak kepadanya.
(5) Apa-apa fi latihan yang dikenakan terhadap orang berinsurans oleh pemberi latihan di bawah seksyen ini hendaklah ditanggung oleh
Pertubuhan dan amaun fi latihan itu hendaklah sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Ketiga.
(6) Pertubuhan hendaklah membayar fi latihan kepada pemberi latihan yang memberikan latihan kepada orang berinsurans.
(7) Bagi maksud subseksyen (5) dan (6), “fi latihan” ertinya semua kos yang berhubungan dengan latihan bagi orang berinsurans termasuklah makanan dan bahan bagi latihan itu.
