(1) The Council may establish committees as the Council considers necessary or expedient to assist the Council in the performance of its functions or in the exercise of its powers.
(2) A committee established under subsection (1)—
(a) shall be chaired by a dental surgeon appointed by the Council;
(b) shall be subject to, and act in accordance with, any direction given to the committee by the Council; and
(c) shall conform to any procedure determined by the Council.
(3) The Council may appoint any person as a member of any such committee.
(4) A member of a committee shall hold office for such term as the Council may specify in his letter of appointment and be eligible for reappointment.
(5) The Council may, at any time, revoke the appointment of any member of a committee.
(6) A member of a committee may, at any time, resign by giving a notice in writing to the President.
(7) The Council may, at any time, alter the composition of or dissolve a committee.

Jawatankuasa Majlis
(1) Majlis boleh menubuhkan jawatankuasa sebagaimana yang difikirkan perlu atau suai manfaat oleh Majlis untuk membantu Majlis dalam pelaksanaan fungsinya atau penjalanan kuasanya.
(2) S u a t u j a w a t a n k u a s a y a n g d i t u b u h k a n d i b a w a h subseksyen (1)—
(a) hendaklah dipengerusikan oleh seorang doktor pergigian yang dilantik oleh Majlis;
(b) hendaklah tertakluk kepada, dan bertindak mengikut, apa-apa arahan yang diberikan kepada jawatankuasa oleh Majlis; dan
(c) hendaklah menepati mana-mana tatacara yang ditentukan oleh Majlis.
(3) Majlis boleh melantik mana-mana orang sebagai anggota bagi mana-mana jawatankuasa.
(4) Seseorang anggota jawatankuasa hendaklah memegang jawatan selama apa-apa tempoh sebagaimana yang dinyatakan oleh Majlis dalam surat pelantikannya dan layak untuk dilantik semula.
(5) Majlis boleh, pada bila-bila masa, membatalkan pelantikan mana-mana anggota jawatankuasa.
(6) Seseorang anggota jawatankuasa boleh, pada bila-bila masa, meletakkan jawatan dengan memberi notis secara bertulis kepada Yang Dipertua.
(7) Majlis boleh, pada bila-bila masa, mengubah keanggotaan atau membubarkan suatu jawatankuasa.
