s 27 Removal of names from Register

(1) The Dental Registrar or the Dental Therapists Registrar shall remove from the Dental Register or the Dental Therapists Register, as the case may be, the name and other particulars of a dental practitioner or a dental therapist— (a) who has died; (b) who is no longer practising dentistry; (c) who has, after due inquiry by a Fitness to Practice Panel, been found to be unfit to perform his professional duties, by reason of his mental or physical infirmity, or been found to be incompetent to carry out his professional duties as a dental practitioner or a dental therapist; or (d) who has, after due inquiry by the Council or the Board, as the case may be, been found to have been registered through an error as to his qualifications for registration, and was not at the time of his registration entitled to be registered. (2) The Dental Registrar shall notify the dental practitioner, or the Dental Therapists Registrar shall notify the dental therapist, of the removal of his name under paragraph (1)(b), (c) or (d). (3) The Dental Registrar or the Dental Therapists Registrar shall publish in the Gazette the names of every dental practitioner or dental therapist whose registration has been removed under paragraph (1)(b), (c) or (d).

Pemotongan nama daripada Daftar

(1) Pendaftar Pergigian atau Pendaftar Juruterapi Pergigian hendaklah memotong daripada Daftar Pergigian atau Daftar Juruterapi Pergigian, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, nama dan butir-butir lain seseorang pengamal pergigian atau juruterapi pergigian— (a) yang telah meninggal dunia; (b) yang tidak lagi menjalankan amalan pergigian; (c) yang telah, selepas penyiasatan sewajarnya oleh Panel Kelayakan Mengamal, didapati tidak layak untuk melaksanakan tugas profesionalnya, oleh sebab kelemahan mental atau fizikalnya, atau didapati tidak kompeten untuk menjalankan tugas profesionalnya sebagai pengamal pergigian atau juruterapi pergigian; atau (d) yang telah, selepas penyiasatan sewajarnya oleh Majlis atau Lembaga, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, didapati telah didaftarkan atas kesilapan mengenai kelulusannya bagi pendaftaran, dan tidak pada masa pendaftarannya berhak untuk didaftarkan. (2) Pendaftar Pergigian hendaklah memberitahu pengamal pergigian, atau Pendaftar Juruterapi Pergigian hendaklah memberitahu juruterapi pergigian, mengenai pemotongan namanya di bawah perenggan (1)(b), (c) atau (d). (3) Pendaftar Pergigian atau Pendaftar Juruterapi Pergigian hendaklah menyiarkan dalam Warta nama tiap-tiap pengamal pergigian atau juruterapi pergigian yang pendaftarannya telah dipotong di bawah perenggan (1)(b), (c) atau (d).
