s 57 Dismissal of complaints
The Complaints Committee may recommend to the President for a summary dismissal of any complaint or information received under section 53 if the Complaints Committee is satisfied that—
(a) the name and address of complainant is unknown or untraceable;
(b) the complaint or information does not constitute an ethical issue or an offence under this Act or any other Act;
(c) the complaint or information received is doubtful; or
(d) the complainant has withdrawn the complaint in writing.

Penolakan aduan
Jawatankuasa Aduan boleh mengesyorkan kepada Yang Dipertua bagi menolak terus apa-apa aduan atau maklumat yang diterima di bawah seksyen 53 jika Jawatankuasa Aduan berpuas hati bahawa—
(a) nama dan alamat pengadu tidak diketahui atau tidak dapat dikesan;
(b) aduan atau maklumat itu tidak menjadi suatu isu etika atau kesalahan di bawah Akta ini atau mana-mana Akta lain;
(c) aduan atau maklumat yang diterima meragukan; atau
(d) pengadu telah menarik balik aduan secara bertulis.
