Any person who commits an offence under this Act or the regulations made under this Act for which no penalty is expressly provided shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.

Mana-mana orang yang melakukan suatu kesalahan di bawah Akta ini atau peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini yang baginya tiada penalti diperuntukkan secara nyata boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi satu ratus ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi satu tahun atau kedua-duanya.
