s 63 Registration before effective date
(1) Notwithstanding section 13, any person and any agent of foreign operator who operates any vehicle of carrying any person leaving Malaysia before the effective date and such services are subjected to the departure levy shall apply to the Director General to be registered within thirty days before the effective date, in the manner provided in section 13.
(2) The Director General may register the person referred to in subsection (1) on or after the effective date.
(3) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.

Pendaftaran sebelum tarikh efektif
(1) Walau apa pun seksyen 13, mana-mana orang dan mana-mana ejen pengendali asing yang mengendalikan apa-apa kenderaan membawa mana-mana orang meninggalkan Malaysia sebelum tarikh efektif dan perkhidmatan itu adalah tertakluk kepada levi pelepasan hendaklah memohon kepada Ketua Pengarah untuk didaftarkan dalam masa tiga puluh hari sebelum tarikh efektif, mengikut cara yang diperuntukkan dalam seksyen 13.
(2) Ketua Pengarah boleh mendaftarkan orang yang disebut dalam subseksyen (1) pada atau selepas tarikh efektif.
(3) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi satu ratus ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi satu tahun atau kedua-duanya.
