(1) A board by the name of “Malaysian Space Board” is established.
(2) The Board shall consist of—
(a) the Secretary General of the Ministry charged with the responsibility for science and technology who shall be the Chairman;
(b) the Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry charged with the responsibility for science and technology who shall be the Deputy Chairman;
(c) one representative from the Ministry charged with the responsibility for defence;
(d) one representative from the Ministry charged with the responsibility for communications and multimedia;
(e) one representative from the Ministry charged with the responsibility for home affairs;
(f) one representative from the Ministry charged with the responsibility for transport;
(g) one representative from the Ministry charged with the responsibility for international trade and industry; and
(h) one representative from the National Security Council.
(3) The members referred to in paragraphs (2)(c) to (h) shall be appointed in writing by the Minister and the Minister may, in respect of each of the member, appoint an alternate member to attend meetings of the Board when the member is for any reason unable to attend.

Penubuhan Lembaga
(1) Suatu lembaga yang dinamakan “Lembaga Angkasa Malaysia” ditubuhkan.
(2) Lembaga hendaklah terdiri daripada—
(a) Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian yang dipertanggungkan dengan tanggungjawab bagi sains dan teknologi yang hendaklah menjadi Pengerusi;
(b) Ti m b a l a n K e t u a S e t i a u s a h a K e m e n t e r i a n y a n g dipertanggungkan dengan tanggungjawab bagi sains dan teknologi yang hendaklah menjadi Timbalan Pengerusi;
(c) seorang wakil daripada Kementerian yang dipertanggungkan dengan tanggungjawab bagi pertahanan;
(d) seorang wakil daripada Kementerian yang dipertanggungkan dengan tanggungjawab bagi komunikasi dan multimedia;
(e) seorang wakil daripada Kementerian yang dipertanggungkan dengan tanggungjawab bagi hal ehwal dalam negeri;
(f) seorang wakil daripada Kementerian yang dipertanggungkan dengan tanggungjawab bagi pengangkutan;
(g) seorang wakil daripada Kementerian yang dipertanggungkan dengan tanggungjawab bagi perdagangan antarabangsa dan industri; dan
(h) seorang wakil daripada Majlis Keselamatan Negara.
(3) Anggota yang disebut dalam perenggan (2)(c) hingga (h) hendaklah dilantik secara bertulis oleh Menteri dan Menteri boleh, berkenaan dengan setiap anggota itu, melantik seorang anggota silih ganti untuk menghadiri mesyuarat Lembaga apabila anggota itu tidak dapat hadir atas apa-apa sebab.
