Preamble

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Government to ease the restrictions on foreign travel; WHEREAS, in furtherance thereof, it is deemed necessary to expand further the coverage of the provision exempting certain persons from the payment of the travel tax; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution do hereby order and decree the following:

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section 2 of P. D. No. 1183 as amended by section 2 of P. D. 1205 is hereby further amended by adding a new paragraph after paragraph "l" thereof which shall read as follows: "m) Persons whose travel is provided or funded by foreign governments with which the Philippine Government maintains diplomatic relations."

Section 2

SECTION 2. All acts, decrees, executive orders, administrative orders, rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of this Decree are repealed or modified accordingly.

Section 3
