Section 34
SEC. 34. In order to favor the construction, development, or maintenance of irrigation systems, the Government of the Philippine Islands may exercise the right of eminent domain and acquire any property in this manner and for such purposes, instituting condemnation proceedings in accordance with existing law. Upon filing condemnation proceedings the Government, shall have the right of immediate entry and occupation pending the determination by the court of the amount of compensation and damages.
