SEC. 26. No person is permitted to operate a motor vehicle upon or along any sidewalk, walk, path, alley, or other part or section of a highway set aside or reserved for pedestrians or foot passengers. Every violation of this section shall subject the offender to a fine of not more than ten pesos.
