Failure to enact an appropriation ordinance.
Section 73
SEC. 73. Failure to enact an appropriation ordinance. - Whenever the board fails to enact an appropriation ordinance for any fiscal year before the end of the previous fiscal year, the several sums appropriated in the last appropriation ordinance for the objects and purposes therein specified, so far as they may be done, shall be deemed to be re-appropriated for the several objects and purposes specified in said last appropriation ordinance," and shall go into effect on the first day of the new fiscal year as the appropriation ordinance for that year, until a new appropriation ordinance is duly enacted.
