Section 8

SEC. 8. Powers and duties of the Assistant General Manager.—The Assistant General Manager shall assist the General Manager and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to him by the General Manager and/or the Board of Directors. The Assistant General Manager shall be at the same time head of one of the departments of the PTA, to be designated by the Board, and shall be technically trained along tobacco work. He shall act as General Manager in case of temporary absence or incapacity of the latter, and when the Assistant General Manager acts as General Manager he shall sit in all meetings of the Board of Directors and participate in the deliberations, but without the right to vote.
