Section 83

SEC. 83. Ineligibility of public officers and employees.—Except in .the case provided in sections fourteen and fifteen of this Code and the notaries public, no person holding a public office or who is a candidate for an elective office may be appointed member, or substitute of a member of a board of inspectors.
