Article 17

1.   No new quantitative restrictions on imports or any other restriction having equivalent effect shall be introduced in trade between the Community and Egypt. 2.   Quantitative restrictions on imports and any other restriction having equivalent effect in trade between the Community and Egypt shall be abolished from the entry into force of this Agreement. 3.   The Community and Egypt shall not apply to exports between themselves either customs duties or charges having equivalent effect, or quantitative restrictions or measures having equivalent effect.
