Status of the report of a personal interview in the procedure
Article 14
1. Member States shall ensure that a written report is made of every personal interview, containing at least the essential information regarding the application, as presented by the applicant, in terms of Article 4(2) of Directive 2004/83/EC. 2. Member States shall ensure that applicants have timely access to the report of the personal interview. Where access is only granted after the decision of the determining authority, Member States shall ensure that access is possible as soon as necessary for allowing an appeal to be prepared and lodged in due time. 3. Member States may request the applicant’s approval of the contents of the report of the personal interview. Where an applicant refuses to approve the contents of the report, the reasons for this refusal shall be entered into the applicant’s file. The refusal of an applicant to approve the contents of the report shall not prevent the determining authority from taking a decision on his/her application. 4. This Article is also applicable to the meeting referred to in Article 12(2)(b).
