Specific procedures

Article 24

1.   Member States may provide for the following specific procedures derogating from the basic principles and guarantees of Chapter II: (a) a preliminary examination for the purposes of processing cases considered within the framework set out in Section IV; (b) procedures for the purposes of processing cases considered within the framework set out in Section V. 2.   Member States may also provide a derogation in respect of Section VI.
