Objectives
Article 49
1. The Parties agree to cooperate in order to facilitate and increase trade in goods between them, by identifying, preventing and eliminating unnecessary barriers to trade within the terms of the TBT Agreement. 2. The Parties undertake to cooperate in strengthening regional, and specifically SADC EPA States’ integration and cooperation on matters concerning technical barriers to trade. 3. The Parties undertake to establish and enhance SADC EPA States’ technical capacity on matters concerning technical barriers to trade.
