Short title and application

This Act may be cited as the Raja-Raja and the Yang di-Pertua-Yang di-Pertua Negeri Higher Studies Scholarship Fund Act 1983 and shall apply throughout Malaysia.

Interpretation

In this Act unless the context otherwise requires— “Board” means the Raja-Raja and the Yang di-Pertua-Yang di- Pertua Negeri Higher Studies Scholarship Fund Board constituted under section 5; “Fund” means the Raja-Raja and the Yang di-Pertua-Yang di- Pertua Negeri Higher Studies Scholarship Fund established under section 3; “Majlis” means the Conference of Rulers established under Article 38 of the Federal Constitution.
