s 17 Reinstatement
(1) Any registered Engineer or Engineering consultancy practice whose name has been removed from the Register pursuant to an order of the Board under subsection 7A(5) or 15(1 A), shall, if his or its appeal is allowed, forthwith be reinstated and the Registrar shall issue a certificate of registration to him or it.
(2) Any registered Engineer, other than a Graduate Engineer, or Engineering consultancy practice whose name has been removed from the Register for failure to renew his or its registration for a period of not more than three years shall be reinstated as soon as may be after he or it has notified the Registrar of his or its desire
to be reinstated and upon payment of such fees as may be prescribed, and the Registrar shall issue a certificate of registration to him or it.
(2A) A registered Engineer, other than a Graduate Engineer, or Engineering consultancy practice, who fails to renew his or its registration for a period of more than three years consecutively may be reinstated if he or it applies to the Board for reinstatement and the Board if satisfied with his or its reasons for reinstatement and upon payment of such fees as may be prescribed, shall issue a certificate of registration to him.
(3) Any registered Engineer or Engineering consultancy practice whose name has been removed from the Register pursuant to an order of the Board under subsection 7A(5) or 15(1A) and who has not appealed against that order or whose appeal has been dismissed, may after the expiration of not less than six months from the date of the order of cancellation or from the date of the decision of the appeal apply for reinstatement. The Board upon receipt of satisfactory evidence of proper reasons for his or its reinstatement and upon reimbursement to it of all expenditure incurred by it arising out of the proceedings leading to cancellation of his or its registration and upon payment of the prescribed fee, shall issue a certificate of registration to him or it.

(1) Mana-mana orang yang namanya telah Kemasukan disingkirkan daripada Daftar menurut perintah Lembaga Pin. Akla di bawah seksyen 15 hendaklah, jika rayuannya dibenarkan, A662.] dimasukkan namanya semula dengan serta-merta; dan fakta kemasukan semula namanya itu hendaklah disiarkan dalam Warta dalam tempoh tiga puluh hari dari tarikh kemasukan semula itu.
(2) Mana-mana orang yang namanya telah disingkirkan daripada Daftar kerana tidak membaharui pendaftarannya bagi suatu tempoh tidak melebihi tiga tahun hendaklah dimasukkan semula namanya dengan seberapa segera yang boleh selepas dia memberitahu Pendaftar akan hasratnya supaya dimasukkan semula dan setelah dibayar apa-apa fee yang ditetapkan.
(3) Mana-mana orang yang namanya telah disingkirkan daripada Daftar menurut perintah Lembaga di bawah seksyen 15 dan dia tidak merayu terhadap perintah itu atau di mana rayuannya telah ditolak, boleh selepas tamatnya tempoh selama tidak kurang dari enam bulan dari tarikh perintah pembatalan itu atau dari tarikh keputusan rayuan itu memohon untuk kemasukan semula namanya. Lembaga apabila menerima keterangan yang memuaskan mengenai sebab yang wajar bagi kemasukan semula namanya dan setelah dibayar ganti segala perbelanjaan yang ditanggung oleh Lembaga berbangkit daripada prosiding yang membawa kepada pembatalan pendaftarannya dan apabila dibayar fee yang ditetapkan untuk perakuan pendaftaran bolehlah mendaftarkannya semula.
