s 43 Period of service in pursuance of a notice under subsection 42(1)
A person who commences to serve in a post in a public service in pursuance of a notice issued under subsection 42(1), shall continue to serve in the said post or in such other subsequent post or posts in the same or such other public service as may from time to time be determined by the Director General in his discretion for a continuous total period of not less than two years to the satisfaction of the Director General; and any person who without reasonable cause fails to complete such period shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.

Tempoh perkhidmatan menurut notis di bawah subseksyen 42(1)
Seseorang yang mula berkhidmat dalam sesuatu jawatan dalam sesuatu perkhidmatan awam menurut notis yang dikeluarkan di
bawah subseksyen 42(1) hendaklah terus berkhidmat dalam jawatan tersebut itu atau kemudiannya dalam satu atau beberapa jawatan lain sama ada dalam perkhidmatan awam itu juga atau dalam perkhidmatan awam yang lain sebagaimana yang ditentukan dari semasa ke semasa oleh Ketua Pengarah menurut budi bicaranya bagi suatu tempoh terus-menerus yang berjumlah tidak kurang daripada dua tahun dengan memuaskan hati Ketua Pengarah; dan seseorang yang tidak mencukupkan tempoh itu tanpa apa-apa sebab yang berpatutan melakukan suatu kesalahan terhadap Akta ini.
