Local Government Act 1976 s 155
Sections 85–93 were repealed by later amendments.
If the sum due from the owner of any holding on account of any rate or costs is paid by the occupier of such holding such occupier may, notwithstanding anything contained in any agreement or arrangement with the owner, deduct from the next and following payments of his rent the amount which may have been so paid by him.
Menuntut kadar yang telah dibayar oleh penduduk
Jika jumlah wang yang kena dibayar oleh pemunya sesuatu pegangan oleh sebab apa-apa kadar atau kos adalah dibayar oleh penduduk pegangan itu penduduk itu boleh, walau apa pun yang terkandung dalam sesuatu perjanjian atau perkiraan dengan pemunya, memotong daripada bayaran sewanya selepas saja daripada itu dan berikutnya amaun yang mungkin telah dibayar sedemikian olehnya.
